A large flowery cluster of pink microcrystals of Rhodochrosite perfectly perched sitting atop a large Quartz crystal! This is an astonishingly aesthetic rhodochrosite for this very old silver-mining district in the USA. For the area, it is an amazing combination piece. As a rhodo from anywhere, it has unique aesthetics. The pics tell you all you need to know about this exceptional and unusual cabinet piece, and it is complete all around!. Custom base included. Apparently Kay purchased this in November 1971 from an auction at Sotheby's of the "Parke" collection, by her label.
