5.5 x 1.3 x 0.9 cm (Specimen); 3.86 carats; 11.46 mm x 9.40 mm (Gem) - Tourmaline is one of the most popular gems and minerals in the world, and has a such a wide range of colors. The "rough" end of this set features a group of sharp, lustrous, gemmy crystals with very good luster. The specimen is nearly colorless, but shows a very soft green hue in strong light. This piece is from a locality called Pulji, in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The gem that matches up with this crystal is a lovely soft mint green color with a "Step Shield" cut and nearly eye-clean clarity. A nice set with a less common color hue.
