These amazonites from Ethiopia have given Colorado amazonites a run for their money! They certainly have equal quality when in specimens such as this, with separation of crystals and fine deep robins-egg blue color. The three main crystals here are perfectly arranged on the pale orthoclase matrix. They measure up to 2 cm in height and are about 2 cm across the terminations.
