This is a rather large, unusually aesthetic, pyrrhotite specimen from Mexico. These are old finds from the 1940s-60s and specimens of this quality are seldom seen for sale!The brassy, hexagonal crystals exceed 4 cm across and sit on a matrix of tan siderite. Some minor edge damage is trivial. Really, one of the most pleasing such specimens I have seen. 8.7 x 6.5 x 5.8 cm
