A doubly-terminated floater crystal of amethystine/smoky quartz from Kenya, not a big producer of specimens, which makes these crystals prized. They have Brandberg-like qualities, the same gemmy clarity and variegated hues. This crystal has areas of interesting glassy jagged faces resembling those on a kunzite crystal.
