An old-time, fine cabinet combination zeolite specimen from an uncommon Japanese locale - Hirada, Hizen. A rich, striking and well-placed vug in matrix is highlighted by the 2.0 wide, pastel-green, complex apophyllite crystal cluster and is beautifully surrounded by pearlescent epistilbite blades and blocky chabazite crystals. Accompanied by an old F. Krantz label, which dates from after 1888 to perhaps around 1910.
