A SUPERB, AESTHETIC and pristine, doubly terminated, light sea-green, "rabbit-ears" tourmaline from Pech, Afghanistan. The gemmy, indicolite-blue zone beneath the termination of one of the crystals really sets this exquisite piece off. The pyramidal terminations are frosted and etched and a couple of cleavelandite blades are embedded in one of the terminations. This is really a cute Pech specimen and the backlit photo highlights the color intensities and indicolite zone gemminess. 3.7 x 3.6 x 1.8 cm
