A striking and rare cabinet orange creedite with fluorite specimen. This large, pincushion-like specimen of connected intergrown balls of creedite and covered with gemmy, burnt-orange to colorless crystals is dramatically highlighted by a 4.5 x 3.7 cm, sail-like wedge crystal of lightly etched, translucent, sea-green fluorite. Good creedites were rare from any locality, until these orange ones were found in Mexico. Then, the mining was finished, apparently for good.
