This is a great old time Epidote from the country that produced some of the first and most classic Epidotes in the world. This specimen is comprised of a few, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, olive-oil green, crystals of Epidote intergrown to form a very aesthetic thumbnail. This piece comes with the old label documenting it was collected in 1865. A wonderful Alpine specimen from the mid 19th Century! 2.4 x 2.2 x 1.8cm
