Nestled in a vug is a cluster of glassy and gemmy, rich teal blue, crystals of caledonite, to .6 cm. One very sharp, 3-D crystal is perched against a stairstep background of beautiful caledonite latticework. Caledonite is a fairly rare lead, copper, carbonate, sulfate. This is a superb example from this new California locality, collected January 2007
