A beautiful example of the classic French Barytes from this locality, with a lot of elegance to its form. Many of these that I have seen are quite blocky and massive, but this one is almost curvaceous and...sexy, for a Baryte! I believe these came out in the late 1980s. In any case, they certainly ae not common now, particularly pieces with good color and luster
