Mined in the 1980's in Bulgaria, this is a VERy large, STRIKING specimen of big, lustrous galena crystals (to 3 cm), some with a glittery coating of golden chalcopyrite, intergrown with large, complex crystals of sphalerite (to over 2 cm). The galenas and sphalerites are on a bed of slender quartz needles. 15.8 x 14.7 x 5.4 cm
