Papagoite is a very rare copper-related silicate. This is a fine, unpolished, pristine natural quartz crystal that displays a rich zone of concentrated, turquoise-blue papagoite inclusions. This piece is from the famous, small, 1985 find from the Messina Mine of South Africa, source of the very best papagoite-included quartz crystals. The papagoite phantoms are fabulous. Complete-all-around. Ex. Rob Smith Collection.
