A sharp, euhedral chrysoberyl crystal attached to schist matrix from Zimbabwe. Old material with excellent pleochroism, meaning color change under different lighting conditions, ie, natural versus incandescent. The backlighting highlights the color changes. The piece comes with an old Ft. Victoria, Rhodesia label. Ex. Zinn Collection 1.8 x 1.6 x 1.3 cm
