This is clearly one of the great Italian Alpine classics! Demantoids from Val Malenco (the Malenco Valley) are some of the most prized Alpine Garnet specimens in the world. This specimen features several, sharp, lustrous, rich green color dodecahedra which measure up to 5 mm on Serpentinite matrix. These specimens are very difficult to obtain in todays market. 4.4 x 3.7 x 3.4cm
