Amethyst specimens from the Royal Scepter Mine of New Mexico are very rare and are very rarely available. Two clusters of glassy, flattened, parallel-growth, pretty, light purple amethyst crystals are aesthetically set in a dramatic, large vug. The striking, cityscape-like cluster is 4.3 x 3.0 x 2.0 cm. We have never seen a specimen from this locale before. Older material from the Richard Hauck Quartz Collection.
