An EXCELLENT example of RARELY SEEN minerals in combination - native silver with dioptase! The piece consists of bright to oxidized, massive to platy silver dusted with dioptase microcrystals. This is old material, from the 1960s or older, from a very RARE for silver, but not dioptase locality - Mindouli, Republic Of The Congo. Ex. Jean Behier and George Elling Collections. Unique in my experience save one other that we recently auctioned.
