Malachite specimens from the famous, but extinct, Bagdad Mine of Arizona are seldom available. Sparkly malachite botryoids, in clusters or as discrete spheroids richly cover the porphyry matrix on this excellent cabinet specimen from the Robert Sullivan Collection. It's a large plate from a rare old locale. This piece probably dates to the 1950s or 1960s.
