Since the closing of the Jeffrey, there has been a real scramble to scoop up any good specimens left on the market. These fine grossulars have always been prized. This specimen is distinguished by a particularly LARGE crystal, measuring 1.4 cm across! It is nice and isolated as well. This combination of qualities is very rare for Jeffrey grossulars! This crystal, as the others, has pretty striations on its faces. It is pristine. There is no damage to the major crystals here, although a few remnant shards remain elsewhere on the diopside matrix (not distracting) from crystals no longer present. 7 x 3.5 x 1.2 cm
