An impressive, old-time, large cabinet plate festooned with twinned, water-clear, light green fluorite cubes to 1.3 cm from the 1818 find at the Middlehope Shield Mine at Weardale. Some of the cubes have modified corners and most of the cubes have a pale purple layer just below the cube face. This large piece is typical of specimens from the 1818 White's Level find. Ex. Dr. John H. Ward Collection. Superb purple fluorescence.
