This is a relatively sharp, euhedral crystal of pearlescent white, and translucent scheelite, a fairly rare mineral for England! It fluoresces an opaque, blue -white and a light bronze under SW/LW ultraviolet light. Ex. Collections of A.G Moss Sr. and Jr. and Ralph Sutcliffe along with their labels. It was then purchased for the Greenbank collection in 1991 when the Sutcliffe collection was sold to the Greenbanks. Ralph told me the piece had been in the miner's family since the early 1900s and he had not seen another comparable for sale. Nothing like it was found in more recent digging here.
