It is so hard to get ANYTHING from the old Bisbee locality these days. Some people think of it as the great American locality, and specimens from here are greatly prized. Here is a large specimen of the classic Bisbee association of azurite and malachite, in the form of micro-crystals on a platy matrix of limonite. The malachite looks as though it has been sprinkled over the limonite and azurite.
