A gracefully curving "ribbon" of thick austinite crystals forms atop the matirx here. These crystals are elongated, to 1 cm long, and among the largest of the find. They are intergrown, its true, but you can clearly see the crystal definition from the sides and see that these are indeed huge austinites!
