Old material, classic for the locality but seldom seen today - this specimen is composed of large crystals of tetrahedrite to 3 inches, in a sharp cluster. This locale has produced, I believe, the largest fine crystals of the species with any quality of luster and sharpness to them. This piece has particularly good stepped growth which gives its face a more 3-dimensional character. It is from the sulfide collection of Dr. Gene Meieran, sold off about 2001 or 2002. Weighs 617 grams.
