A spectacular, very uncommon, large cabinet pseudomorph specimen from the Raura District of Peru. Sparkly, gray, drusy quartz has pseudomorphed huge, pseudo-hexagonal aragonite crystals. The upright crystal is complete-all-around and pristine, including the doubly terminated sidecar crystal. The giant 17.5 cm crystal is also totally pristine. This sculptural and aesthetic specimen probably dates to the 1970s. I have seen a few smaller ones, but certainly not anything of this size and quality.
