A striking specimen of the very desirable blue-green cuprian (copper-rich) variety of adamite from Mina Ojuela, with good-sized, distinct crystals filling a shallow pocket in a matrix of limonite. The crystals measure to about 0.5 cm. This fine specimen came out of the collection of Evan Jones, and was in the Eugene Sensel collection prior to that (comes with these labels). These adamites are far rarer than the more familiar green ones from Mapimi with crystals in a wheel or "whorl" form.
