This is an old specimen that had been in the collection case since the 1980s. It is a complete floater, all around. The color is gorgeous yellow-amber, distinct from other heliodor locations in Ukraine and Brazil. This came out of an old collection to Pala back in the day when they made the old laminate labels for display (and it still has one). As such, Larson thought it came to them in a collection found by Swoboda or Bancroft at the time. The location is presumed, based on other known samples, although no old label survives and such material could be from as far back as the early 1800s. It turns up only in old collections.
