This calcite crystal, isolated on a matrix covered with sparkly stilibite microcrystals, looks like a jewel! It measures just under 3 cm across. There is a natural smoky inclusion in the center of the crystal that makes it hard for the camera to pick up on the high gemminess. The faces have wonderful luster.
