A superb, aesthetic and classic pseudomorph from the Ray Mine of Arizona. A striking, upright, bowtie-like, cluster of sharp, blue-green pseudomorphs of chrysocolla after azurite crystals is set on gossan matrix. The pseudomorph crystals reach 3.2 cm. They are very rare in this size of crystal, on any matrix. Most long since fell off or broke off. It is accompanied by a 1970s era Roberts Minerals label, who even knew the level of the mine the specimen came from. From the 2280 Level.
