Partially gemmy, lustrous, octahedral, wine-red cuprite crystals are richly and attractively scattered on matrix plate covered with chrysocolla. The cuprite crystals reach 1.0 cm. A couple of chatoyant malachite sprays amongst the cuprites are a nice accent. This fine specimen is from the highly regarded late 1980s finds at the Dikuluwe Mine of Zaire. Ex. Don Belsher Collection.
