Enargite is a Holy Grail mineral species for Butte and this showy and rich specimen is highlighted by an upright, lustrous, striated, 3.5 cm crystal front and center. The large crystal is nicely complimented by smaller enargites on a matrix of solid enargites. This excellent piece is from the famous Leonard Mine and is highly representative of the species and locale. Ex. George Elling Collection.
