This sparkling, bright, amazing specimen is one that has a long history, and which we sold to David Stoudt back in 2021 out of an old collection I was handling at the time. It stands on its own merits, with the history as a bonus. Crystals of wulfenite to 1.5 cm have been faithfully replaced here by a transparent to translucent, sparkling quartz. The piece is colorful with a hint of yellow, bright instead of dull as modern examples are, and shockingly pristine. More modern specimens found here are not as vibrant or yellow, tending to orange. It is a choice miniature for quartz, for Arizona, or just for a beautiful, interesting specimen that is a relatively unique and rare replacement. The piece is complete all around, save the bottom periphery. Note the AE Foote label dated October of 1892 on the bottom! Note - hand delivery preferred on this one.
