Spanish fluorite at its best is INTENSE in color, in a manner deeper in saturation than any similar Illinois piece. This is a cluster of intergrown, equant, fluorite cubes, to 2.4 cm across, that are lustrous and translucent and exhibit the classic, gorgeous rich purple color. Most of the crystals show thin modifying faces to the cubes, and phantoms - a complexity characteristic to this classic locality. From old dealer stock of Herb Obodda.
