This plate of glassy, flashy quartz from the Glover collection is distinctive due to the rich inclusions of hedenbergite and goethite, which give the crystals a rich mossy color. Fine quartz specimens are unusual from the San Antonio Mine, and actually, except for the amethyst variety, are not all that common from Mexico in general.
