A rich and fine mound of lustrous, deep purple fluorite octahedrons from Catron County, New Mexico. The crystals measure up to 1.5 cm and are very nicely complimented by the starkly contrasting white quartz matrix. This is an excellent example from this well-known locale. Ex. Mijer Collection.
