Very gemmy and lustrous, cinnamon-brown grossular garnets to 1.0 cm richly cover the matrix plate on this outstanding specimen from the Vesper Peak, Washington and the Bart Cannon Collection. This skarn area was a noted locality for fine grossular during the 1970s. There are literally dozens of gemmy garnets on this piece.
