This sparkly and hefty chalcopyrite ball miniature is a marvelous example from this find in China. We brought out nearly all of the better specimens that remained as clusters AND the few existing matrix specimens (available separately on our website). 90% of the pieces were deconstructed into rubbish at the bottom of the pockets, found between October 2018 and March 2019, and not since. The combination of a baker's dozen of larger and smaller ornately connected chalcopyrite orbs comprise an aesthetic grouping of these unique oddities. These scintillating blue-gray to purplish balls have little contacting and exhibit two distinct sizes: a trio around 2.0 cm with the remainder at about 1.0 cm. Super attractive and sits perfectly for display!
