AN AESTHETIC and SUPERB cluster of two, large, gemmy and lustrous smoky quartz crystals with golden muscovite books at the base from the less well-known Cahuilla Mountain District of Riverside County, California. The backlit photo highlights the gemminess and translucency of the crystals. This is outstanding material from this locale and the trivial bruises near the terminations are barely noticeable.
