A beautiful, very glassy, 3.8 cm, golden-yellow scheelite crystal is aesthetically attached to a finger of muscovite blades and a myriad of smaller scheelite crystals on this fine specimen from recent finds at Mt. Xuebaoding in China. The big scheelite has classic, textbook tetragonal form and is undamaged, except for the minor contacting at the base. The piece has excellent color, luster, gemminess and size. Outstanding white fluorescence.
