An incredible old rarity from a historic USA silver mining district, from which few specimens survived, showing highly aesthetic 2.2 x 2.5 x 1.5 herringbone wires with a classic patina. From Gene Schlepp (Western Minerals, Tucson, Arizona). Specimen came from the collection of Gene Schlepp’s friend, John Passenau. Gene notified Alex after recalling that he helped John load his collection into Gene’s van to sell at that time. Ex. John Passenau (State College, Pennsylvania). Photo by Jeff Scovil. A superb historic silver specimen!
