A classic multicolored Malchan tourmaline, from this famous pegmatite occurrence. Although this superbly formed elbaite crystal exhibits a matte luster typical for the locale, it is beautifully translucent and colorful; with the lower 2/3 of the crystal being yellowish green and the upper third a reddish brown color. The mass is 116 grams. Ex. Klaus Neumann collection.
