Well-defined and partially gemmy, this carmine-red crystal of Eudialyte is a quality specimen from the famed Khibiny Massif of the Kola Peninsula, Russia. The centrally located, 1 cm crystal has good form and an equally good presentation side (sharp with high luster). There is a modicum of contacting. Eudialyte is a rare zirconium silicate and this is highly representative specimen for the species and locality. Old material from the early 1990s.
