A CLASSIC, OLD-TIME specimen from the Bosch and Smithsonian collections of a two-sided German thumbnail of sharp, highly lustrous, gun-metal gray bournonite crystals on a bit of matrix from the famous Georg Mine. Trivial edge wear is certainly not detracting. Carl Bosch was a very prominent European collector who lived from 1874-1940. The Smithsonian purchased his collection in 1965, which numbered 25, 000 mineral specimens! The Smithsonian label number indicates an old piece. SUPER SHARP THUMBNAIL! 2.4 x 1.6 x 1.0 cm
