This mine has produced some very well known Rhodochrosite specimens in its history. This piece has some very attractive, pink colored Rhodochrosite rhombs forming "rosettes" which are associated with white Quartz "sprays" and minor sulfides on the back. The rhodochrosites are rather lustrous with that classic color that is well known from the Sunnyside mine. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
