Elbaite
Watermelon Tourmalines are always good to find, when you can. This specimen, with superb luster and partial gemminess, has the classic red core and green outer layer. The base is healed and the sculptural termination is decorated with pinkish-tan feldspars. For a locale which produces many slender crystals, this is an amazing 5.2 cm wide and 3.2 cm thick!
