On a sliver of matrix is a cuboctahedron of fluorite measuring 5.5 cm across, that has frosted octahedral faces and glassy and gemmy cube faces - a nice contrast!. The color is a lovely emerald green and it is markedly gemmy, much more so than past pockets here. For a collector of fluorites in this size, this is one of the best examples I have seen of this habit. It is a large miniature, or technically a small cabinet size.
