My favorite of the three cabinet pieces here, this is a very rich specimen chock-covered with a thick carpet of PG that completely carpets an earlier growth of mimetite, and shows the partial alteration of the mimetite to PG in "fingers." IT IS COVERED ALL OVER! The PG has grown on all sides, making this an ecnlosed floater matrix piece. It is very thick and 3-dimensional, quite a bit more attractive in person. The texture is very velvety and attractive. This is one of the largest intact specimens recovered, and is among our largest specimens. It is a phenomenally rich piece that has more PG on it than probably all other old English PG's in private collections, combined. This is a very rare mineral after all!
