Hinsdalite is a rare lead sulfate/phosphate and to find it pseudomorphing a rich bed of acicular pyromorphite crystals artistically set on matrix is indeed, RARE. There are even 3 un-pseudomorphed green pyromorphite sprays, which makes it even RARER! This fine, old-time thumbnail is from the Zeehan Queen Mine of Tasmania, Australia. Ex. Carl Davis Collection.
