Apatite (unusual crystal habit)
This is a superbly crystallized, lustrous and translucent, dark olive-colored fluorapatite crystal. Its hexagonal symmetry is clearly evident but the termination is highly unusual (with an outstanding long prismatic form and modifying pyramidal faces). This is a very old piece, I am assuming, as I have not seen anything like it before. It came from a small collection of Apatite that was being sold in Denver of 2014.
