Distinctive and elegant in its simplicity, this tabular Azurite is from the great location of Milpillas. This sharp Azurite has excellent luster and deep blue color, transmits light, and it sits on a matrix of rare, white Dickite. Really, a superb thumbnail, as the photos show. It is GEMMY throughout, with backlighting. I would go so far as to say that this is the closest thing I have yet seen from Milpillas to a "definitive" thumbnail, and it stands above all the others I have seen as just finer and more shocking. It is a competition level thumbnail of a relatively common thing, and as such is more important in some ways in a competitive case than many rare species might be.
